ANDY'S BACKGROUND: I grew up in Christchurch a small town near Bournemouth on the south coast of England. For two years I lived in Bermuda before moving to Toronto , Canada. Finding the Ontario winters a little harsh I migrated to Vancouver on Canada's west coast in 1976, where I happily resided until 1991. Still having "itchy feet" and yearning to live in warmer climes I moved to Australia. I am an electronic technician having started out in consumer electronics and gone into television broadcasting. Have worked for Roger's Cable TV and CITY TV in Toronto, and spent 15 years at  CKVU (now CITY TV) in Vancouver. In Australia I worked for the Ten Network for 3 1/2 years before moving to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ABC in 1995, where I am currently employed.

KARIN'S BACKGROUND:I was born in Kenora , Ontario, Canada and lived in various towns in Northwestern Ontario. Here's the list: Dryden, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay . I spent 5 years in Richmond Hill (suburban Toronto, for those not familiar) and went to Richmond Hill High School. In 1978 I moved to Vancouver and worked at  CKVU (now CITY TV) for 13 years. From Vancouver it was a hop across the Pacific to Brisbane. I did freelance work for 3 years mostly for the 10 Network and Channel 9. I am now working full time for the Ten Network as a News Editor.
